Housmans Peace Diary 2026

A6 paperback, 144 pages | Published September 2025

The 73rd edition of the Housmans Peace Diary.

With a week to view, quotations, and dates for celebration or protest.

Our 2026 cover design is inspired by the 1970s-era design of Peace News, the grassroots peace movement newspaper. Historic issues of Peace News are in the process of being digitised, and many past issues can now be accessed online here.

This year’s diary is produced in-house by Housmans Bookshop, and for the first time is in A6 format 105 x 148 mm (4.1 x 5.8 inches)

Introductory Feature

An exploration of modern efforts around the world to resist the war machine through non-violent means.

Radical Bookshop Guide

A directory compiled in partnership with the Alliance of Radical Booksellers, offering readers a guide to radical bookshops around the UK.

**It has come to our attention that there are three weeks containing incorrect dates in the 2026 Peace Diary. Sadly this is a result of human error, and not a special feature. A note is now included with the diary. The incorrect dates are:

Week beginning April 20th: Wednesday 21st April should be Wednesday 22nd April.

Week beginning Monday 22nd June: Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th should be 23rd and 24th, respectively (correct again from Thursday 25th)

Week beginning Monday 27th July: Tuesday 27th July should be Tuesday 28th July.

All other dates are correct.

Our apologies for the mix-up. If you have already purchased a diary – and don’t wish to celebrate the 21st April twice – you are welcome to get in touch for a refund.**
